2022 Milk Carton Boat Race -- don't miss out on the fun!

Location: The Casting Pond in Westmoreland Park,
SE McLoughlin Blvd and Bybee Blvd in Portland
The Royal Rosarians Milk Carton Boat Race offers a memorable day for participants and spectators alike. Children and adults race and show off their handmade boats that float only by means of recycled milk cartons and jugs. Creatively-constructed watercraft will compete for the coveted PEOPLE'S CHOICE MILK CAN TROPHY. Join us for a Sunday filled with family-friendly entertainment and some spirited competition. We invite you to come and enjoy the fun! Register and make your own Milk Carton Boat or cheer for your favorite contestant.
Racing Categories:

- Children: Ages 7-12
- Adults: Ages 13 and up
- Family/Multi-rider: Ages 7+
- Corporate (Business, non-profits & loosely affiliated groups)
Alpenrose will provide up to 50 free jugs or cartons to all participants. Containers are available for pickup through June 17th, while supply lasts, at:
Westside: Alpenrose Dairy M-F 9 am- 3 pm 6149 SW Shattuck Rd, Portland
Southeast: Moreland Presbyterian Church Tu-Th 9 am - 1 pm 1814 SE Bybee Blvd, Portland
Eastside: Rockwood Boys & Girls Club M-F 10 am - 1 pm April 4 to May 27 454 SE 165th Ave, Portland
The deadline to sign up on-line is June 19th. Spaces available for people signing up the day of the event is limited. Please sign up by June 19th!
