It's party time with Portland Rose Festival Opening Ceremony.  We start with a ribbon cutting ceremony, then carnival rides, live music, food, drink and fireworks! Expect to see the skies light up over downtown Portland with a fireworks display choreographed to its own soundtrack (best seen and heard inside CityFair). The fireworks begin just after dark.
Opening ribbon cutting: 5pm

Rosarians should plan to meet at the Rose Festival Foundation offices no later than 4:30 PM, at 1020 SW Naito Parkway, Portland 97204. Around 4:50 PM the council will escort Queen Kobi and the 2025 Rose Festival Court in a processional to the Ribbon Cutting at 5:00 pm at the Waterfront Park. 

Rosarians wear Whites, Capes, Gloves, Hats. If you do not have your White Suit, Green Jacket with Black pants are ok.
