Opening Session - Oregon House of Representatives

The Royal Rosarians are honored to participate in the opening session of the Oregon State House of Representatives on February 10 at 11:00 am.  This is the first time for the Royal Rosarians to take part in this opening ceremony.

The session will open with the singing of the United States National Anthem performed by Prime Minister Ron Fisher, First Lady Kelly Hughes-Fisher, and Royal Scribe Karen Murphy.

Royal Rosarians are needed to form an Honor Guard for the event; participants will be formally introduced from the House floor, so participants must sign up in advance.  There will be an opportunity for photos after the close of the ceremony at approximately 12:00 noon.

Those participating in the Honor Guard should meet by 9:30am at the entrance of the capitol building, just through the metal detectors.  Capitol staff will escort our group to the House chambers.

Honor Guard must wear full whites with capes and gloves.  (No hats, no skirts)
