The Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center's (Good Sam) Sesquicentennial (150th) Anniverary.

To celebrate the event at Good Sam, Rosarians will be planting Octoberfest in the Healing Garden (see the red star on the map below).

When/Where:      Saturday, April 12, 2025

                             Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center Healing Garden 

                             1015 NW 22nd Ave, Portland, Oregon 
 
Time of Event:    10:00am (Rosarians should be there no later than 9:30am)
 
Attire:  White suits, hats, gloves, and capes. New members who don't yet have whites may wear green jackets and black pants.
 
Reception: After the Rose Planting ceremony there will be coffee, and pastries will be served. 
 
Parking Directions: 
 
There are 4 handicapped parking spots in area right next to lobby .  
 
The entrance to the parking structure is on NW Marshall between 21st and 22nd.  
 
Parking Validation is only given if you park in the Legacy Good Samaritan parking structures #2 or # 3.   

There is 5 minute "on-street" parking on  22nd Avenue, right in front of the main entrance for loading/unloading only. 

Healing Garden Directions: 

The best way to access the Healing Garden begins on the NW corner of Marshall and NW 22nd Avenue, which is between the main Medical Center entrance and the old Wilcox Memorial building.  There is a concrete path that leads less than 1/2 block to the Healing Garden area where the planting will take place.
