Good in the Hood Parade

Come march with us at the Good in the Hood! This year the theme is Roots, Rhythm, and Power so expect to see lots of high energy performances, chants, enthusiasm, and some excellent outfits.

Where: On NE 6th Ave between NE Wygant and NE Going (near the elementary school)

When: Saturday, June 27th. The parade starts at 11:00, so be at the start no later than 10:30 AM. 

Dress: Whites, capes, gloves, hats - or greens if that's what you've got. Bring rain gear!

Parking: parking is on the street, so allow time. The organizers are offering a shuttle which runs from 8 am to 7 pm. Shuttle runs from Lilli Albina Park to 8th and Wygant, so  you can either park at the end and shuttle back or vice versa. 

Pre-parade: Duke Dwight Terry is offering donuts and coffee to early risers at his office, Terry Family Funeral at 2337 N Williams Ave. This is close to the end of the parade. Come early, park, and take the shuttle to the staging area!

Other Details: The parade runs along NE MLK from NE Prescott to NE Knott. 

The float is going to Tillamook for the Dairy Days celebration, so registrants must be able to march. Ron and Kelly will be leading the parade in a car as the float is going to Tillamook, so there are no seats for non-marchers.

After Party! In previous years, marchers have gathered at Lazy Days Brewing after the parade. 2326 N Flint Ave. The brew pub does not take reservations; consult amongst yourselves about alternatives if it's too crowded.
