Bicycle rides starting and ending at the Tour de Rosaria golf course locations to be able to go on a bike ride and join the golfers for re-hydration afterwards. This is the second one starting at Langdon Farms Golf Club. Jeff will be riding (leading) the ride this week. The route is about 11 miles total. It goes from the golf in a clockwise loop through Butteville, along the Willamette, and back. The store in Butteville is a good place to stop even if they are unlikely to be open. Trivia: They claim to be the oldest continuousily-operatring retail establishment in Oregon. A cue sheet with turn-by-turn directions is available to download from the Event Attachments link to the left of this window. A route has been created in Ride With GPS. It is named Langdon Farms loop thru Butteville. You can get to the route here: |

A few years ago, several Rosarian ladies got together to 'swap' formal attire. It was an opportunity to swap out previously worn, but gently owned dresses, for something 'new'. It was a fun time to socialize, and get to know other rosarian women. With the Rose Festival Grand Floral Ball coming up on June 11th, and the 2023 Prime Minister Ball coming up on September 10th, it's a great time to hold this fun event. Bring an appetizer, and a bottle of wine or other beverage of choice and join us at the home of Royal Gardener, Dame Kathy Fastenau on Tuesday evening, May 31st begining at 6:30 PM. Kathy lives in Tigard, at 14467 SW 130th Avenue. Even if you don't have any dresses to swap, please feel free to come and 'shop' for that perfect dress! Please register to let us know you are coming!!!! |
