Blessing of the Festival

Royal Rosarians: Although the blessing starts at 1:00 P.M., please gather in the church at 11:30 A.M. (The Rose Festival Court will arrive about 11:40-ish.) Drill Master(s) will get everyone line up for practice by 12:00 P.M. The Blessing will start promptly at 1:00 P.M.

In your white uniforms, capes, and gloves, you will assist in the assembly, procession formation, seating and exiting instructions. Court escorts, remember who your princesses are and know their bios (posted on the Rose Festival Foundation website.)

Remember to carry your hats into the church building before your practice line up. All hats will be left near the entrance to be picked up as exiting for the Rose Planting Ceremony. The drill master(s) will give you instructions on the ceremony.

All Guests: Please arrive well before 1:00 P.M. If you have a role in the blessing (other than being in the audience), please be ready to practice or prepare at 12:00 P.M.

Parking is available on the street and the parking lot directly behind the church. No parking in the Poor Richard’s or Hollywood Dental Care parking lots —subject to towing.
